Man shot during southwest Las Vegas robbery hospitalized
A man shot during a robbery in a parking lot in southwest Las Vegas was hospitalized early Wednesday morning, police said.
About 1:30 a.m., the man was approached by another man who demanded his property in the parking lot at 9265 S. Cimarron Road, near the intersection with Blue Diamond Road, Metro Lt. David Gordon said.
During the robbery, the man was shot once. He was taken to University Medical Center, where he is in stable condition, Gordon said.
Police are still looking for the suspect, described only as a black man, Gordon said.
