Man shot in head, police investigate
Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting that happened Friday night at an apartment complex near Valley View Boulevard and Pennwood Avenue.
Police responded about 10:42 p.m. to reports of gunshots in the 3100 block of Chadford Place, according to Lt. Michael Wallace. On arrival they found one man shot in the head. He was transported to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The shooting is being investigated by Metro’s gang unit.
