The Metropolitan Police Department served a search warrant for illegal rooster fighting and recovered about 600 birds at two eastern valley residences Wednesday afternoon.
In a statement, police said two suspects are in custody, They added that detectives were recovering the birds from residences in the 4700 block of Stanley Avenue, near East Owens Avenue.
