Northbound Interstate 15, near Washington Avenue, was down to one lane Thursday morning following a semitrailer accident, Nevada Highway Patrol said.

The lanes weren’t reopened until about 11:30 a.m., according to a NHP tweet.

The accident, which was reported at 7:19 a.m., involved a two-trailer semitrailer and two other vehicles, trooper Loy Hixson said.

Traffic cameras showed a jackknifed trailer blocking at least three lanes.

One person was taken to an area hospital, Hixson said, and other minor injuries were reported.
