One killed, another injured in motorcycle crash
A north valley crash left one dead and another critically injured Thursday night, North Las Vegas police said.
A motorcycle and car crashed into each other on Tropical Parkway east of Decatur Boulevard just after 8 p.m.
One motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene, police spokesman Aaron Patty said. A second rider was taken to University Medical Center and was in critical condition.
The driver of the car was not injured.
It appears the motorcycle was speeding when the crash happened, Patty said. It was not known if alcohol was a factor.
