Pedestrian dies after being struck by vehicle in east Las Vegas
A woman died after she was struck by a vehicle Monday night in east Las Vegas.
The woman was crossing East Flamingo Road near Mountain Vista Street outside a crosswalk around 7:45 p.m. when she was struck by a 2015 Scion TC, according to a statement from the Metropolitan Police Department.
The Scion’s driver, a 27-year-old man, was not suspected of impairment.
Flamingo was shut down in both directions from Mountain Vista Street to Gibraltar Street immediately following the crash.
