Pedestrian hospitalized after being hit at Maryland and Flamingo

A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Maryland Parkway on Wednesday afternoon, Las Vegas police said.
The crash happened about 3:11 p.m., Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.
The pedestrian was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with injuries that Meltzer said were not considered life-threatening.
