Pedestrian killed in crash on I-15 in Las Vegas
A pedestrian was killed late Saturday night after an SUV struck her on southbound Interstate 15, south of Lamb Boulevard, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at about 11:15 p.m. when a gray Mazda SUV headed south on I-15 struck the female pedestrian, who, for unknown reasons, was in a travel lane, according to a Highway Patrol news release.
After the first collision, a silver GMC SUV also hit the pedestrian. The woman was pronounced dead on the scene.
The drivers remained on the scene and are cooperating with investigators, the release said. Impairment is not suspected, and the investigation is continuing, the highway Patrol said.
