Person in critical condition following motorcycle crash
A south valley crash involving a motorcycle left a woman in critical condition Sunday evening, Las Vegas police say.
Officers responded to Russell Road and Arville Street just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday, where a taxi and a motorcycle had crashed.
The 39-year-old motorcycle rider was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Metro Sgt. Richard Strader said she may lose her leg.
Police were still investigating the cause of the crash at 8:30 p.m.
