Fagundes, 16, and a sophomore at Chaparral High School, was at the store on a surprise shopping spree that his mother, Jackie George, won after entering Liberty’s “My Refund Story/Double Your Refund” contest. Fagundes performs in a jazz band and needed new clothes for shows, but the family is living paycheck to paycheck and needed a financial assist to help the teen suit up.
