Power restored for 1,800 customers in southeast valley
After more than 1,800 customers were without power in the southeast valley Wednesday night, NV Energy was able to restore electricity by 10:45 p.m.
The outage, reported at 6:41 p.m., initially affected 1,834 NV Energy customers in the area of East Sunset Road and Green Valley Parkway.
NV Energy’s website pointed to “equipment failure” as a possible cause, but it was unclear which equipment failed and why.
