Rangers looking for boater reported missing at Lake Mohave

The National Park Service said rangers are looking for a 31-year-old Las Vegas man who disappeared on Lake Mohave nearly a week ago.

The dispatch center at Lake Mead National Recreation Center received a call from a boater reporting the man missing near Willow Beach on Feb. 27 at 6:15 p.m. The caller said they had passed by a vessel earlier in the day and saw the man on a boat with two dogs, but when they saw the boat later it was moving with only the dogs on board, the park service said.

Rangers and Las Vegas police have been searching by air, on the water and with divers in the area where the man was last seen.
