Ski resort changes name to Lee Canyon
Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort has taken a “Back to the Future” approach to its new name.
It’s now officially known as Lee Canyon, its original name when it opened in 1963.
Lee Canyon’s revamped website is www.leecanyonlv.com and was launched with a only splash page Monday. The website reflecting the new branding goes live Nov. 9 and the new Lee Canyon brand identity will be incorporated into on-mountain signage, marketing materials, uniforms and all other branded items.
“Despite changing our name to Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort in 2003, locals and longtime guests still refer to us as Lee Canyon,” said Kevin Stickelman, Lee Canyon president and general manager.
