Southwest flight forced to return to McCarran with possible hydraulics problem

A Southwest Airlines flight that left McCarran International Airport Friday afternoon was forced to turn around after it reported a possible hydraulics issue, an airport spokeswoman said.

Southwest Flight 1391, a Boeing 737 bound for Albuquerque, New Mexico, left the airport at 12:15 p.m., spokeswoman Christine Crews said.

The flight landed back at McCarran at 12:58 p.m. without issue after the pilot reported the problem, Crews said.

The Clark County Fire Department responded to the landing, as is typical when a plane reports any kind of problem in the air.
