The Nevada Highway Patrol says a suspicious package, found early Saturday morning along Russell Road, has been deemed not a threat and the road is now open.
Just after 7:30 a.m., Russell Road over Interstate 15 was closed in both directions due to the package, according to a Nevada Highway Patrol Southern Command tweet.
At 10:20 a.m., a tweet from the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada said I-15 was open north and southbound at Russell, but all on- and off-ramps at Russell Road are closed.
At 10:58 a.m., the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada tweeted that the Russell Road and all I-15 ramps are open.
