Teenage girl in critical condition after being struck by vehicle
A teenage girl was hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in the east valley Tuesday, Las Vegas police said.
The identity of the girl was not released. She was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
Police Lt. Mark Reddon said the incident occurred at 5:20 p.m. at Sahara Avenue and Winterwood Boulevard.
Reddon said the teen was walking in a crosswalk when she was struck. He did not have additional details.
The investigation was ongoing Tuesday night.
