Update: Power restored to northwest Las Vegas
Power was restored to about 1,700 homes affected by an outage Sunday night in a section of the northwest valley, according to NV Energy.
ZIP codes most affected were 89149 and 89166, which are far northwest and into the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
The outage happened about 6 p.m. and power was restored about 9 p.m., NV Energy said.
