A 61-year-old woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a pickup in the central valley Thursday morning.
It happened about 9:30 a.m. near the intersection of Spring Mountain and Lindell roads, Las Vegas police said.
The woman was taken to University Medical Center.
Police said another woman driving a 2009 Toyota Tacoma was turning left onto Spring Mountain on a green light when it struck the woman as she walked in the crosswalk. The woman was forced to the ground and the driver stopped and stayed at the scene.
None of the truck’s passengers, including two small children, were hurt. The collision remains under investigation by the Metro’s Accident Investigation Section.
