Woman hit by vehicle near UNLV

Officers were called to the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Maryland Parkway about 2:40 p.m. after the vehicle hit the woman, Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Larry Hadfield said.

As of 4 p.m., police said the woman was not gravely wounded and didn’t need medical transport. The driver stayed on scene and traffic was cleared up shortly after.
