Woman killed in scooter crash identified
The woman killed in Wednesday morning’s scooter crash has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as 45-year-old Tara Burrage of Las Vegas.
According to police reports, Burrage was traveling west on Carey Avenue when the scooter hit a Honda Accord turning left onto Sandy Lane from Carey.
Burrage was taken to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Accord suffered no injuries.
The collision is still under investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department.
