Inmate dies in Northern Nevada prison
An inmate in Northern Nevada serving a life sentence for sexual assault has died, the Nevada Corrections Department said.
Todd Avery Stickney, 48, died Saturday in the Regional Medical Center at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City. Stickney was convicted in Clark County in 2008 and was serving a life sentence with the possibility of parole for sexual assault of a victim under 16, the Corrections Department said.
Stickney’s next of kin have been notified. The cause and manner of his death are pending an autopsy.
