North Las Vegas police issue 192 citations during ‘joining forces’ event
North Las Vegas Police issued 192 citations during a “joining forces” event, the agency said in a statement.
Police in North Las Vegas worked with Metro, Henderson police, Mesquite police and the Nevada Highway Patrol between Feb. 19 and March 7 to catch speeders throughout the area. Officers stopped 173 vehicles and issued tickets mainly for speeding.
The event was held with help from a Joining Forces Grant from the Nevada Department of Public Safety.
