Reno cab driver, found shot, dies
RENO — Reno police are investigating after a cab driver was found shot over the weekend and died.
Authorities say they were called at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday and told of a shooting near a taxi cab at the 900 block of Wheeler Avenue.
Police say they found the Whittlesea cab and the driver, who was alone and suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
