Body found at golf course in northwest Las Vegas
A body was found Monday morning at a golf course in northwest Las Vegas, police and the Clark County coroner’s office has confirmed.
The body was found at the Painted Desert Golf Club at 5555 Painted Mirage Road, near Lone Mountain Road and U.S. 95, a coroner’s office spokesperson confirmed in an email.
A Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson said officers responded to the call of a body found at 8:02 a.m. Monday.
Metro’s Homicide Section did not respond, the spokeperson said, suggesting that the death didn’t immediately appear to be suspicious.
Any further information about the circumstances of the death, however, will depend on what the coroner’s office determines in its investigation, the police spokesperson said.
