The pedestrian bridge linking the New York-New York and MGM Grand reopened Monday, just one day before the Golden Knights play their first preseason home game at the nearby T-Mobile Arena. The bridge had been closed since July 5.
However, construction on the bridge connecting the New York-New York and Excalibur on the Strip’s southern end will continue through Dec. 29, with ongoing traffic lane restrictions beneath the span running between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. on weeknights
