The two right lanes of southbound U.S. Highway 95 just before Eastern Avenue remain closed after a tractor-trailer crash early Friday morning.
The on-ramp at Eastern leading to southbound U.S. 95 remains closed as well Friday afternoon.
Just after 3:30 a.m., the tractor-trailer jackknifed and crashed into a sound wall, breaking through the wall and spilling about 100 gallons of a liquid, possibly diesel fuel, across the road, blocking the southbound lanes. Debris from the sound wall fell to Bruce and 19th streets below the highway, hitting an unoccupied pickup.
Road workers are repairing the wall.
No injuries were reported.
