Parts of Las Vegas Valley see thunderstorms, pea-sized hail

Two severe thunderstorm warnings and a flood advisory that had been issued for Clark County on Friday are no longer in effect.

The second warning affected the northwest area and lasted until 4 p.m. The first warning, which was for the Mount Charleston area, expired at 1:30 p.m., meteorologist Andy Gorelow said.

The flood advisory was canceled at 6 p.m., meteorologist Caleb Steele said.

Pea-sized hail and up to a half-inch of rain were reported in parts of the west valley, Steele said.
