Sunny but cooler this week in the Las Vegas Valley

Mostly sunny skies are expected Tuesday in the Las Vegas Valley, the National Weather Service said.

Tuesday’s high temperature should reach 62 degrees.

Las Vegas “will get pretty chilly” midweek, said meteorologist Chris Outler; temperatures will drop below freezing in parts of the valley Thursday morning.

Forecast highs Wednesday should reach 53 degrees; Thursday, 55 degrees; Friday, 58 degrees; and Saturday and Sunday, 60 degrees, the Weather Service said.

The valley should remain dry throughout the week with “occasional high clouds,” Outler said.
