Centennial boys win Spring Valley jamboree
Centennial had two-runner teams finish second, third and seventh Saturday to claim first place in the Grizzly Jamboree at Spring Valley.
The Bulldogs had 12 points, four fewer than second-place Palo Verde.
Instead of a traditional cross country meet, the jamboree pairs two runners from the same team in a relay race. The participants each ran two 1.47-mile legs.
Palo Verde’s Zack Smith and Daniel Wicks took first place in 26:38.
