Tom Dougherty powers Coronado in weekday meet
Coronado’s Tom Dougherty finished Tuesday’s 2.5-mile race in 13 minutes, 44.82 seconds to help the Cougars’ boys cross country team win a weekday meet at Foothill.
The Cougars had 21 team points, followed by Basic (53), Foothill (69), and Coral Academy (108).
Seth Blackwell of Basic placed second with a time of 13:53.82, and Coronado’s Tim Conaway (14:05.83) was third.
