Martinez tosses three TD passes as Mustangs roll
Freshman quarterback Gerard Martinez threw for three touchdowns and ran for another to help keep The Meadows unbeaten in Class 2A Southern League play with a 48-13 home victory over White Pine on Friday.
The Mustangs (5-1, 3-0 2A Southern League) coasted after leading 27-0 at the end of the first quarter and 40-6 at halftime.
Martinez completed 4 of 8 passes for 98 yards and three touchdowns, and carried twice for 72 yards and one score.
