Outlook: McCann, who coached Moapa Valley’s baseball team last year, takes over a team that has won two straight state titles.

The Eagles return seven starters from last year’s Class 3A championship team.

“We have a chance to return to the playoffs if we continue to take the time to improve in areas that are lacking,” McCann said. “We have good chemisrty, good upperclass leadership and overall, a great tradition.”
