Black Knights (Calif.) edged LV Patriots, 5-4 on Friday in an elimination game in the Connie Mack Western Regional tournament in Alameda, Calif.
The Patriots stayed alive with a win over Southern Nevada on Thursday, but would have needed four more victories to win the tournament title.
Black Knights rebounded from an 11-0, five-inning loss to Danville Hoots (Calif.) on Thursday.
