Outlook: A perennial playoff team under Bassett, Spring Valley has some work to do this year with only three starters back.

Drachler, expected to be among the best pitchers in Southern Nevada, is a good place to start.

"We will be very inexperienced with the loss of nine seniors," Bassett said. "We look to be competitive in the Northwest League. Drachler, Endsley and Macove anchor the pitching staff and take us as far as we go."
