Memphis East knocks off top-ranked Findlay Prep
James Wiseman and Chandler Lawson each scored 17 points on Saturday to lead Memphis East to a 68-57 win over Findlay Prep in the Larry Finch Classic at Elma Roane Fieldhouse in Memphis.
Alex Lomax added 11 points for Memphis East, which trailed 43-41 entering the fourth quarter.
Findlay Prep took a 15-7 lead after one quarter. The Pilots were the nation’s preseason No. 1 team according to USA Today. Memphis East was No. 3.
