Outlook: The Mountain Lions struggled at times in Ulrich’s first season, but fought back to win four of their final six games to finish in a fifth-place tie in the league.

In his second season, the coach hopes his squad can improve on last season’s performance.

Flores averaged 9.6 points and is back to lead the returnees. He and Valley transfer Smith to be the team’s go-to players.

There’s not a lot of varsity experience, but Ulrich thinks th team can compete for a playoff berth.
