Thornton helps Pilots open season with easy win
Derryck Thornton had 27 points and 11 assists Friday as host Findlay Prep’s basketball team opened its season with a 119-55 win over Impact Academy.
Alonzo Trier had 32 points for the Pilots, who led 72-34 at the half.
Justin Jackson added 21 points and five steals, and Horace Spencer supplied 16 points and 12 rebounds for Findlay Prep.
