GIRLS BASKETBALL: McGwire leads Reno past Faith Lutheran
Mallory McGwire poured in 32 points Saturday to lead Reno’s girls basketball team to a 58-44 win over Faith Lutheran in the High Sierra Winter Challenge in Reno.
Daranda Hinkey added 14 points for the two-time defending Division I state champion Huskies, who led only 24-21 at the half.
Haley Vinson had 15 points, and Madison Bocobo scored 13 for the Crusaders.
