Carmel, Eagles defeat Rancho
Trenton Carmell threw for two touchdowns, ran for one and had an interception Friday to lead Boulder City’s football team to a 32-13 win at Rancho.
Carmell’s 1-yard TD run in the first quarter got the Eagles (2-1) on the board.
Rancho (0-3) was hurt on special teams as Boulder City blocked consecutive punts in the third quarter, one of which was recovered for a touchdown by Justin Rockenfeller.
Junior Robert Howard finished with 137 yards on 29 carries for Rancho.
