Faith Lutheran named Week 5 Nevada Preps football Team of the Week
Faith Lutheran started the football season losing its first three games before falling behind 17-0 to Palo Verde on Saturday.
Backup quarterback Connor Paravia helped Faith Lutheran score 20 points in the fourth quarter to beat the Panthers 20-17 and win for the first time this season.
The Crusaders’ comeback earned them Nevada Preps Team of the Week honors.
Faith Lutheran (1-3, 1-1 Northwest League) next has a tough matchup with Legacy on Thursday.
