Jack Berkley helps The Meadows to blowout win
Jack Berkley had a hand in four touchdowns on Saturday to help The Meadows to a 56-0 football road win over Mountain View.
Berkley completed 4 of 6 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns. He also had five carries for 91 yards and two scores.
Berkley had TD runs of 31 and 39 yards in the first half to help the Mustangs (4-2, 3-1 2A Southern League) take a 42-0 halftime lead.
He also a 46-yard touchdown pass to Adam Martinez, and a 75-yard scoring strike to Sam Mason.
Martinez had 35 yards on four carries, including a 35-yard TD run.
Mountain View’s Tyrell Brooks completed 9 of 24 passes for 135 yards, and also rushed for 65 yards. Isiah Johnson caught five passes for 94 yards for the Saints (0-4, 0-3).
