BOYS GOLF: Joey Dotta helps Coronado wrap up Southeast League win

Joey Dotta shot 2-over-par 62 on Tuesday to lead Coronado’s boys golf team to a victory in a Southeast League match at Desert Willow.

The Cougars finished at 340 to hold off second-place Foothill (356). Liberty carded a 383 and was third.

Logan Bleazard shot 65 for Coronado to tie for third with Green Valley’s Ty Klabacka.

Patrick Dao of Liberty was second at 64.

Foothill’s Noah MacFawn and Thomas Kirchner of Silverado tied for fifth at 66.

CANYON SPRINGS EARNS TIGHT WIN

At Stallion Mountain, Dominic David shot 13-over 85 to help Canyon Springs defeat Las Vegas 637-641 in a Northeast League match.

Matthew Manganello of Eldorado was the medalist after shooting 77.
