Coronado wins Southeast League match
Benjamin Sawaia shot 2-under-par 70 on Monday at Legacy to lead Coronado’s boys golf team to victory in a Southeast League match.
The Cougars had four players shoot in the 70s, posting a team score of 381. Foothill was second at 399, and Liberty finished third at 460.
Brett Sodetz and Joey Dotta each shot 75 for Coronado, and teammate Dylan Fritz shot 79.
Foothill’s Noah McFawn tied Sawaia for medalist honors at 70. Silverado’s Thomas Kirchner was third with a 74.
