ROUNDUP: Atkin leads Bulldogs to win in 3A South match
Kaden Atkin carded a 7-over-par 78 at Falcon Ridge on Thursday to lead Virgin Valley’s boys golf team to victory in a Class 3A Southern League match.
The Bulldogs added 81s from Ryan Baeza and Brandon Cohen en route to a team score of 406.
Needles was second with 430, followed by Moapa Valley at 432, and Boulder City at 447.
Moapa Valley’s Cody Kelly earned medalist honors with a 76.
Coronado tops Palo Verde
At Anthem, Tad Darland and Kenden Slattery both shot 1-under 35 to lead Coronado to a 186-197 victory over Palo Verde.
Julian Glasser added a 36 for Coronado.
Dillon Dudley led Palo Verde with a 37.
Gainey, Foothill defeat Arbor View
At Tuscany, Zack Gainey carded a 1-over 37 to earn medalist honors as the Falcons downed the Aggies, 202-234.
