BOYS SOCCER: Jahuey’s late goal allows Skyhawks to tie Cheyenne
Manny Jahuey scored his third goal of the match with one minute to play Monday to help Silverado’s boys soccer team earn a 3-3 tie with visiting Cheyenne.
Josey Zapata scored twice, and Christian Soalke added a goal for the Desert Shields.
Pahrump Valley 2, Faith Lutheran 2 — At Faith Lutheran, the Trojans scored two second-half goals to earn a draw with the host Crusaders in a game stopped with 12 minutes left because of lightning.
Arturo Morales and Nathan Vallin each had a goal for Pahrump.
Harut Khachoyan had a goal and an assist, and Conner Frame scored for Faith Lutheran.
