Lincoln County salvages split with White Pine
Lincoln County’s Melanie Florence and Michelle Wheatley homered in the nightcap Tuesday as the Lynx beat White PIne 12-8 to salvage a doublehader split in Ely.
White PIne took the first game, 4-2.
Wheatley was 3-for-3 in the first game for Lincoln County.
Lincoln County’s K.C. Jensen struck out 14 in the first game.
White Pine’s Alex Hall and Alli Huntington homered in the first game, and Sami Scott hit a home run in the second game.
