Outlook: The Mustangs made a strong run at the end of last season and made a deep run into the Sunset Region playoffs, but the loss of a handful of players from that run presents a challenge.

"Shadow Ridge will be in a transition phase," Grove said. "With a new coaching staff and an infiltration of a lot of younger girls, a lot remains to be determined about this year’s squad.

"The season should be very exciting."
