Doubles lift Gorman boys tennis past Canyon Springs
Bishop Gorman swept all nine doubles matches Friday en route to a 16-2 win over Canyon Springs at Darling Tennis Center.
The Gaels’ doubles teams of Alec Thomas and Ryan Hidajat, Diego Guttierez and Michael Bessen, and Alex Silvestri and Tyler Tucky each went 3-0.
Kyle Del Rosario was 3-0 in singles for Gorman. Andrew Raphaelson and Cody Miller each went 2-1 in singles.
Josh Jones and Ishmail Gibson each won a singles match for the Pioneers.
