Eldorado boys sweep doubles, top Moapa Valley
Eldorado’s boys tennis team swept the nine doubles sets in Overton on Monday en route to a 12-6 win over Moapa Valley.
The Sundevils’ doubles teams of Dalton Carpenello and Adam Gallegos, Isaiah Hernandez and C.J. Tipton, and T.J. Swain and Seattle Stoneback each went 3-0 as Eldorado improved to 6-0 in the Northeast League.
Alan Guerrero was 2-1 in singles for Eldorado.
Moapa Valley’s Camden Stratton was 3-0 in singles, and teammate Ryan Bessey went 2-1 in singles.
GIRLS
Eldorado 11, Moapa Valley 7 — At Overton, the Sundvelis won six of nine singles sets en route to the victory.
Saira Mendez, Jackie Hernandez and Tanesha Turner each went 2-1 in singles for Eldorado.
Moapa Valley’s Chelsi Edwards was 3-0 in singles. Natalie Rust and Marianna Cripps teamed to go 3-0 in doubles for the Pirates.
