ROUNDUP: Silverado boys nip Eldorado to advance in Sunrise Region
Justin Estell and Todd Vincent went 3-0 in doubles Monday as visiting Silverado (8-3) edged Eldorado 10-8 in a Sunrise Region tennis quarterfinal.
Devon Morrissey and Dillon McNamara each went 2-0 in singles for the Skyhawks, who will visit Foothill (10-1) today in a semifinal match. Eldorado’s T.J. Swain was 2-1 in singles.
Green Valley 17, Rancho 1 — At Rancho, Green Valley swept the doubles and posted an easy victory over the Rams.
The Gators got 3-0 efforts from the doubles teams of Caleb Camp and Alex Zbiegen, Sam Newman and Colin Mitterlehner, and Trevor Bukovi and Connor Opdyke.
Green Valley (7-4) visits Coronado (10-2) in a semifinal today.
